Cafe Kleiner Grunauer in Bad Salzuflen

Unfortunately, because of Corona, I can only rate from the outside. Looks good.

Were there on Sunday to eat coffee and cake. Due to Corona, it is unfortunately a bit difficult to visit a locality. The cake was delicious. Worth every circumstance. The waitress tried very hard to keep everything in order due to Corona.

We were also a guest last week and wanted to have breakfast. The service was very friendly. The scrambled eggs were great. The toast unfortunately like rusk. The apple strudel was extremely tasteless despite the vanilla sauce. Got a very tasty piece of baked apple pie as compensation. The cafe was unfortunately very bad, but the coffee machine was broken that day.

We were in Bad Salzuflen yesterday and wanted to go in somewhere for a coffee and a piece of cake. We were 4 people with a stroller. When we saw the “Kleiner Grünauer Café”, we went in and wanted to sit down. The young waiter saw us with the stroller and immediately asked us to leave the café, as there was supposedly no space for a stroller. There was enough space to put them aside. We therefore suspect that they do not want to have babies there, so that they may not cry. With animals, I can understand if these are sometimes undesirable, but with babies ??? It's a shame because we spent our € 33.20 + tip in the rose garden. Really sad 😔

Very nice hotel with history and a great atmosphere, the rooms are great, unfortunately there is no fresh filter coffee and the breakfast is rather clear, a daily newspaper is also missing

Very nice stay in this small hotel in the city center ==> everything is within walking distance. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating even if they do not speak english and the hotel is very quiet. There is little room, it's nice because no noise. Small flat on the opening hours of the reception from 8 am to 7 pm, but again the staff knows how to be accommodating.

A very stylish little hotel. Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet small but delicious. Kettle for tea / coffee in the room. On departure, a packed lunch. Very nice idea.

Nice little hotel garni with 7 rooms. The room # 3 on the 2nd floor is completely handicapped accessible. Also comfortable with a 80cm wide wheelchair. The ambiance is appropriate for the historic house. The staff is friendly, courteous and always helpful. The included breakfast is served in the foyer and offered as a buffet. It's not exactly exquisite, but more than enough. Special requests such as various preparation of eggs are offered and gladly served. For us as wheelchair users, the only drawback was a non-existent hotel parking lot. There is only a parking side strip across the street. Without blue card 7,00 € / day. Conclusion: the hotel is highly recommended. However, the city of Bad Salzuflen would have to invest considerably more and quickly in road construction.
